Racism row continues at the Bernabeu
It’s another big night of Champions League football.
Real Madrid and Benfica meet once again as they battle over a place in the knockout stages.
Los Blancos go into the second leg against the Portuguese side with a one-goal advantage thanks to Vinicius Junior; however, this tie has been overshadowed by allegations of racism toward the Brazilian in the first leg.
After scoring the only goal of the match in Lisbon, Vinicius claimed he was subject to racial abuse from Benfica winger Gianluca Prestianni. These are allegations that the Argentine has denied.
It’s sure to be another interesting evening at the Bernabeu, as Madrid will look to hold on to their lead to secure a place in the last 16.
Can they keep Benfica at bay? We are about to find out.
