A Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman has been arrested on charges of suspected domestic battery on Monday evening.
Alaric Jackson was arrested at around 11:00pm in his home in the San Fernando Valley after police were called there.
Police say they learned Jackson and a woman had gotten into a verbal argument after they arrived.

Jackson has been with the Rams ever since they drafted him in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Iowa.
He then won Super Bowl LVI with the team, but hasn’t earned many other accolades.
Last season, Jackson signed a three-year, $56.3million contract which will see him earn a base salary of $18.925m this season.
There is a potential out in his contract that kicks in before next season, which would allow him to be a free agent at the age of 30.
