Before we get into tonight’s action, let’s talk about what happened last night in the first two matches of the last-eight.

There was an absolute heavyweight clash in Madrid as 15-time winners real hosted Bayern Munich. They usually get the better of their German counterparts in that fixture, but it was a different story last night.

Vincent Kompany masterminded potentially the biggest win of his managerial career as Bayern won 2-1, anchored by England captain Harry Kane, who scored the second goal of the game.

Luis Diaz was also on the score sheet, while Kylian Mbappe pulled one back for the hosts.

In Portugal, it was a little bit of a snooze fest in all honesty between Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal, but Kai Havertz’s late goal will prove invaluable, with the Premier League side taking a 1-0 lead back to north London next week.

All caught up? Lovely. Now let’s get into tonight.
