A high-profile Premier League star is celebrating his birthday – and his sister has toasted his big day with a heartwarming throwback snap.
The player is turning 24, and has seen himself become one of the most talked-about stars in the division amid a rise in stocks following a transfer to his current club in 2023.
The club, who played in the Champions League this year, forked out £45million to sign the midfielder from his boyhood side, who are also heavy hitters in the top flight.
Since his move, he has taken his game to new levels, scoring 53 goals in 127 games, while he has also picked up 32 assists.
And, despite winning a plethora of trophies at his former club – where he was a bit-part player – he has gone onto lift the Conference League and Club World Cup with his current team.

The player is indeed Cole Palmer. The Chelsea man joined the Blues from Manchester City in August 2023, and has become a household name at both club and international level.
A throwback photo of Palmer and his sister, Hallie, 25, was shared on social media on Wednesday, with the influencer posting the snap to her 35,000 followers.
It featured Hallie and Cole sat on a sofa, with Cole wearing all blue and a bib. He is being hugged by older sister.
The caption read: ’24 years ago my parents brought this lil guy home… I cried at first and then I realised he’s alright.
‘Happy birthday broskiiiiii AMOUT @colepalmer10.’
Cole and Hallie seemingly have a close relationship, with Hallie often seen supporting her brother at matches.
He has also featured in some of her social media videos, where she shares some insight into his life as a professional footballer.
Last year, meanwhile, the £130,000-a-week star was seen holidaying with his sister and parents, Jermaine and Marie.
And, in 2024, Palmer shared his own happy birthday message to Hallie, sharing two more throwback snaps with the caption: ‘Happy birthday @halliejenniferpalmer love ya.’
