How did you get on against our experts in Daily Mail Sport’s Predictor challenge in gameweek 22 of the Premier League?

It was another crazy weekend of action with comebacks, red cards and stunning goals, but did you manage to score higher than Nathan Salt?

While Saturday saw Manchester United’s winning run under Michael Carrick continue, Sunday brought a dramatic headline match with Manchester City getting the better of Liverpool – and a controversial ending caused a major talking point in the fallout.

Before that, however, Arsenal continued their push to a first Premier League title since 2004 with a comfortable 3-0 win over Sunderland – before City closed the gap when they beat Liverpool a little over 24 hours later.

Burnley are now 11 points off safety after they lost 2-0 to West Ham, and Scott Parker’s side look to be the league’s worst team on current form – despite still being ahead of Wolves in the standings.

EXPERT PREDICTIONS

Daily Mail Sport’s Nathan Salt took four points this weekend

Man United 2-0 Tottenham – HOME – 1pts

Arsenal 3-0 Sunderland – HOME – 1pts

Burnley 0-2 West Ham – DRAW – 0pts

Wolves 1-3 Chelsea – AWAY – 1pts

Newcastle 2-3 Brentford – DRAW – 0pts

Brighton 0-1 Crystal Palace – HOME – 0pts

Liverpool 1-2 Man City – AWAY – 1pts

Cole Palmer netted a first-half hat-trick to ensure Chelsea made it four Premier League wins in a row under Liam Rosenior with a 3-1 win over Wolves, and, in the evening, Brentford piled more misery onto Newcastle with a 3-2 victory at St James’ Park – which may have caught out a lot of players given the Magpies’ impressive home reputation.

On Sunday, Crystal Palace got the better of rivals Brighton courtesy of an Ismaila Sarr strike, and the Seagulls may be looking over their shoulders amid a poor run of form that has seen them slide down the table.

Then came Liverpool’s clash with City, and the Reds’ lead may have given some hope until Manchester City turned things around – which helped Nathan, given his away win prediction.

Among our other experts, Lewis Steele once again top scored with five points, hitting the total in back to back weeks. Four others, meanwhile, scored four points.

In the overall table, James Sharpe still leads the way with 73 points – two clear of Jack Gaughan in second. Nathan Salt is closely behind with 69 in third.

Think you could call all seven games correctly this coming midweek? Come along and test your football brain. The selections for gameweek 22 of Predictor are now live.
