  • Darrell Sheets, known as “The Gambler” from the reality show Storage Wars, was found dead at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on 22 April at the age of 67.
  • The Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed two weeks later that Sheets’ cause of death was suicide, a ruling also acknowledged by the Lake Havasu City Police Department, pending toxicology results.
  • Police are actively investigating allegations of cyberbullying linked to Sheets’ death, with his cellular phone submitted for forensic analysis to advance the case.
  • René Nezhoda, Sheets’ co-star, publicly claimed that Sheets had been subjected to intense cyberbullying prior to his death and urged the public to contact police with any relevant information.
  • Sheets, who appeared in Storage Wars from 2010 to 2023, had retired to Arizona after suffering a heart attack in 2019, where he operated an antique store.
