Today, we’re taking you back to the final day of the 2011-12 season, when Manchester United beat Sunderland 1-0 but missed out on the Premier League title due to City’s heroics against QPR.
It’s hard to envision United anywhere near the end of that table nowadays, though this will be a fixture next season after Sunderland’s last-ditch play-off final victory against Sheffield United.
