A new flavor of Oreo cookie is set to hit shelves in a matter of days.

Starting May 4, Oreo Firecracker Pop will become available in stores nationwide, the cookie company announced Thursday.

Inspired by the popular red, white, and blue-colored ice pop, the new cookies will feature blue raspberry, lemon, and cherry flavored creme. Instead of the traditional chocolate, the trio of cremes will be nestled between two golden cookies.

The new flavor will only be available for a limited time while supplies last.

“Get ready for a blast of summertime nostalgia and a burst of flavor!” Oreo said in a press release, adding that the new sweet was “inspired by the delicious frozen treat we all know and love.”

The Firecracker Pop-flavored Oreos are the latest limited-edition offering in the cookie brand’s growing line of treats.

Oreo, owned by Mondelēz International, recently launched an online-only Dill Pickle-flavored cookie, available on its website for $9.99. The special six packs were crafted in a small batch.

Fans who were able to snag a pack left mixed reviews on the Oreo website. One customer suggested Oreo “should definitely consider dropping these full time,” while another called it “the craziest flavor oreo has ever done.”

But others weren’t as convinced, as someone wrote, “Eww not good should definitely stick to original n drop this.”

Dill pickle certainly wasn’t Oreo’s first savory cookie flavor. Last year, a special collection of cookies was released in honor of Thanksgiving.

The “Oreo Thanksgiving Dinner Cookie Tin” included two flavors based on beloved seasonal desserts, Pumpkin Pie and Caramel Apple Pie, as well as side dish flavors Cranberry Sauce, Sweet Potato, and Creamed Corn.

It also included a flavor inspired by Thanksgiving Day’s signature meal: Turkey and Stuffing.

Oreo also teamed up with Reese’s, owned by the Hershey Company, on two snacks that combine their beloved products.

The cookie company released it’s own branded product which is actually a revival of a 2014 cookie variant using Reese’s peanut butter. The new version varied slightly by including Oreo cookie crumbs in the peanut butter filling. The cookies became available in September 2025 as a limited run but were made permanent at the start of 2026.

The Reese’s Oreo Cup, replaced the usual chocolate exterior of a Reese’s cup with Oreo’s milk chocolate and white creme. The interior was Reese’s peanut butter mixed with Oreo cookie crumbs. That was made a permanent addition to the Reese’s lineup, sold in standard, king, and miniature sizes.
