Find partners and funding for collaborative innovation
Innovate UK is investing up to £10 million in the first phase of the Offshore Wind Innovation Programme to support business-led projects. The programme aims to accelerate UK’s growth and leadership in offshore wind. It is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) working across the offshore wind supply chain, including those developing new technologies or services.
Funding opportunities
The programme includes two funding strands under the Future Offshore Wind Technologies competition
Projects must focus on priority areas such as turbine technology, foundations and substructures, electrical systems and cables, environmental services, or installation and maintenance.
B2B matchmaking opportunities
A dedicated online platform is available to help businesses find partners and develop funding applications for the Offshore Wind Innovation Programme.
On this platform, businesses can
- showcase their organisation and innovation
- identify potential partners across the supply chain
- arrange one-to-one meetings to discuss project ideas
- build consortia to strengthen funding applications
The platform is open until 30 June 2026.
