Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce broke the internet on Tuesday as they announced their engagement – and the news was also followed by a spike in the pop star’s Super Bowl halftime odds.
Fans have been speculating that the singer would be the headlining performer at Super Bowl LX after she brought up her hobby of baking sourdough on her recent appearance on ‘New Heights.’ San Francisco, where the game is being played, has a rich history with the bread.
And Swifties could be getting the halftime show they want after all, as the singer’s odds surged to 1/1 (even money) after she and Kelce shared their big news.
According to odds from BetOnline.ag shared on X, Swift holds a sizable lead at the top of the most-recently updated odds – ahead of Dua Lipa at 7/1, and Sabrina Carpenter at 8/1.
Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus and Oasis are all tied at 10/1, while Billie Eilish, Charli xcx and Jay-Z are at 12/1.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement following a two-year romance

And now Swift has been predicted to return to the Super Bowl as next year’s performer
Swift’s odds boost comes a week after she was considered 4/5 by Covers.com.
And back in February, an article published by FanDuel put Swift at 16/1 for the next Super Bowl – behind 11 other performers.
However, the chart-topping artist now could be on track to perform at next year’s big game for the first time in her career.
In previous years, it was said that Swift didn’t do the halftime show because of her brand ambassadorship with Coca-Cola, whom she remained with until 2018.
Meanwhile, Pepsi – the soft drink company’s main rival – sponsored the halftime show between 2013 and 2022.
Once Apple Music took over as the sponsor of the show, it reportedly asked Swift to perform at Super Bowl LVII in 2023 – when Kelce and the Chiefs beat his brother Jason and the Eagles.
However, according to TMZ, Swift declined so that she could focus on her Eras tour and the re-recording of her ‘Taylor’s Version’ albums.
While she has yet to perform at the Super Bowl, Swift has been a fixture at the game in the last two years by virtue of dating Kelce.
In their first year of dating, Kelce and the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl and beat the 49ers in Las Vegas.
The pair first confirmed their romance in September 2023 – they are pictured in January 2025
A visibly emotional Swift was seen tearing up as she hugged her new fiancée
The pair shared a picturesque moment on the field afterwards as Kelce and his team celebrated consecutive championships.
And Swift and Kelce made it to the Super Bowl once again last year as Kansas City were seeking a historic three-peat against the Eagles.
With Swift in the crowd, however, Kelce and the Chiefs faltered as they were defeated 40-22 by her hometown Eagles.
On Tuesday, she and Kelce announced their bombshell marriage news with a romantic photoshoot showing Kelce proposing in a rose garden.
Swift captioned the post: ‘Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.’
Swift also revealed her mammoth diamond engagement ring in the post.
Minutes after the announcement on social media, Patrick Mahomes celebrated his teammate’s big news by sharing Swift’s post alongside three love hearts.
His wife, Brittany, posted her own tribute. ‘Two of the most genuine people meet and fall in love,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘Just so happy for these two.’
The Chiefs also reacted to the news with a heartfelt message to the couple. ‘Today is a fairytale,’ the team wrote alongside a picture of Kelce and Swift.
‘Congrats to Travis and Taylor—we’re excited to have you as a permanent member of the Chiefs Kingdom family!’
