I don’t think anyone had any doubts that France would win this group – they may not yet – but there’s been little in terms of surprises.
Senegal did cause France problems on match day one, but they sorted it out and recorded a 3-1 win.
That same day, Norway beat Iraq 4-1, and would go onto beat Senegal 3-2 in a hard-fought second game.
France, meanwhile, came out 3-0 victors against Iraq.
Senegal will be a little disappointed, I feel. But they can claw things back tonight.
