Celebrating the best of the North West
Londonderry Chamber and City Centre Initiative have launched the 2026 North West Business Awards. Businesses from across the region can enter to showcase innovation, resilience and growth, and highlight their work in areas such as innovation, retail, hospitality, technology and sustainability.
Award categories
The 2026 programme features a wide range of categories reflecting the breadth and diversity of the region’s business community, including
- Creative Marketer of the Year
- Economic Impact Award
- Educational Collaborators Award
- Pub of the Year (public vote)
- Business Hero (public vote)
- Creative Industries Business of the Year
- Innovation and Technology Award
- Sustainability Champions of the Year
- Hotel of the Year
- Large Business of the Year
- NWRC Higher Level Apprentice of the Year Award (non-entry award)
- Restaurant of the Year
- Excellence In Retail Award
- Small Business of the Year
- Strabane BID Business of the Year (non-entry award)
- Young Business Person of the Year
- Brilliance In Business Award (non-entry award)
Businesses can submit entries online via the City Centre Initiative website.
The deadline for entries is Sunday 29 March 2026.
Non-entry awards do not require a submission.
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday 5 June 2026 at the Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel in Derry~Londonderry.
