Alongside the photo, she captioned it with, ‘Nobody makes me bleed my own blood!’
And Stratton didn’t hold back in the comments, swiftly replying with a smirking emoji and the cheeky remark, ‘I did.’
The match marked another chapter in the ongoing rivalry between Jax and Stratton, which began on January 3 when the latter cashed in her Money in the Bank contract and dethroned Jax to kick off her championship reign.
For a moment on Friday’s show, it seemed as though Jax was on the verge of reclaiming the WWE Women’s Championship after making history.
She became the first woman on the main roster to kick out of Tiffany Stratton’s Prettiest Moonsault Ever, shifting the momentum in her favor and putting her in a strong position to seal the win.
Just as the match reached its peak, chaos erupted as former champion Naomi charged down the ramp, appearing to target Stratton, but was quickly cut off by Jade Cargill.
The two brawled out of view, leaving the ring action to continue. Jax capitalized on the distraction, crashing down on Stratton in the corner for a close pinfall.
However, Stratton managed to grab the bottom rope at the last second, narrowly keeping her title hopes alive before eventually retaining her title.
