Jubilant NFL fans will be treated to three mouth-watering games on Christmas Day this year.

In what has become a pivotal day for the NFL in recent years, a three-game slate has been leaked by insiders for December 25 ahead of the schedule’s full release later on Thursday night.

The first is a showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears in what will be the latest chapter of the bitter rivalry that exploded into life once again last season. They will meet at Soldier Field.

Also on December 25, according to reports, will be a rematch of last season’s epic AFC playoff game between the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos.

Josh Allen and the Bills lost in Denver in the Divisional Round, ending another season with playoff heartbreak, while Broncos quarterback Bo Nix also broke his ankle in that game.

A third sensational game on Christmas Day has also been rumored between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks in a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship Game.

But fans will also have football on Christmas Eve with the Houston Texans to visit the Philadelphia Eagles on December 24.

The new season kicks off on September 9 when the Seahawks raise their Super Bowl banner.

Several games have already been announced with highlights including the Dallas Cowboys – New York Giants in the first Sunday night game and the Broncos – Kansas City Chiefs in the first Monday night game.

The Packers and Rams are playing on Thanksgiving Eve and it’ll be the Detroit Lions against the Bears, the Chiefs against the Bills and Eagles against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.

A record nine international games across four continents have also been released.

The San Francisco 49ers face the Los Angeles Rams in Melbourne on September 10 in the first international game of the season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers play the New Orleans Saints on October 25 in Paris in the NFL’s first regular-season matchup in France.

Sixteen of the league’s 32 teams will play at least one of their 17 regular-season games outside the United States.

The 49ers and Jacksonville Jaguars each have two international games. San Francisco also faces Minnesota in Mexico City in Week 11.

The Jaguars have consecutive games in London in Weeks 5 and 6 against the Eagles and Texans. The Colts and Commanders also face off in London in Week 4.

The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens go head-to-head in Rio de Janeiro in Week 3. The Bengals-Falcons are in Madrid in Week 8 and the Patriots-Lions play in Munich in Week 9.
