San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk was made to suffer by his wife Kristin on a recent five-hour flight when she accidentally booked him into a middle seat on the plane.
Kristin joked she was ‘scared for her life’ when she realized her error but still saw enough of the funny side to film it and upload the video to social media.
‘I accidentally booked Kyle a middle seat on a 5 hour flight and I’m scared for my life,’ she captioned the first part of the video, which showed her staring nervously into the distance.
She then panned across the aisle to show the NFL man crammed in between two strangers, typing hastily into his phone.
‘I’m not safe after this flight lands,’ she joked. ‘If no one hears from me later you know who it was. He’s texting me death threats.’
Juszczyk, who stands at 6′ 2″ and 235lbs, then stared across at his wife and was shaking his head, appearing to be deeply unimpressed at her error.

Fortunately, it seems the 49ers hero forgave his wife – she has since been posting away on social media without any reference to her husband holding a grudge.
The pair are one of the most popular NFL power couples in San Francisco and often spend time away from the game with George and Claire Kittle and Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo.
Last season, the 49ers lost in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to the Seattle Seahawks, who went on to win the Super Bowl by crushing New England Patriots at the 49ers’ Levi’s Stadium.
In the offseason, Kyle Shanahan’s organization have been aggressive in making sure the roster is built on for another postseason push in 2026.
Mike Evans has been the standout addition at wide receiver, where they have also added Christian Kirk too.
And crucially on defense, Trent Williams agreed a new two-year, $50million deal amid growing suggestions he would be traded if terms were not met.
The 35-year-old Juszczyk, meanwhile, is entering the final season of his two-year, $8million contract with the Niners.
Attention on 2026 will ramp up next week when the schedule is announced in full for the upcoming season.

The 49ers already know their first game – they will be flying to Melbourne, Australia to take on the Los Angeles Rams on the Friday night of the opening week on September 10.
It isn’t the team’s only game on foreign soil in 2026 – they will also return to Mexico City as the home team for a regular season game at Estadio Banorte.
For both those flights, Juszczyk will be hoping the person that sorts his seat isn’t his wife.
