Green Bay Packers star Rasheed Walker was reportedly arrested at New York’s LaGuardia Airport Friday after being caught with a handgun.
The 6ft 6ins offensive tackle, 25, was found with the firearm by TSA agents on Friday afternoon before being taken into custody.
That is according to the New York Post, who claimed Port Authority police charged Walker with criminal possession of a weapon.
The 25-year-old reportedly appeared in Queens County Criminal Court on Friday before being released. He is due back in court in March.
Walker has spent four seasons with the Packers since being selected out of Penn State with the 249th pick of the 2022 NFL draft.
The offensive tackle signed a four-year, $3.74m contract with Green Bay and has played in 52 games for the Packers. But he is headed for free agency.
The Daily Mail has contacted the Green Bay Packers for comment.
