Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert shared a romantic love note to celebrate his girlfriend Madison Beer’s 27th birthday this week.
The couple went public with their romance late last summer – he was pictured visiting her on the set of a music video and they were then seen going for dinner in Los Angeles shortly after the NFL season began.
From there, America’s new power couple haven’t looked back. Beer often attended Chargers games to cheer Herbert on while he also joined her on the red carpet at a pre-Grammy party in LA in January.
And if there was any question over how much of an influence Beer has had on one of football’s biggest stars, Herbert removed all doubt with an emotional social media post.
‘Happy birthday to my favorite person of all time. I love you so much. You’ve changed my life forever,’ he wrote, sharing a picture of her on his Instagram story.
Another post, a selfie of the two of them together, read: ‘I am the luckiest guy alive.’
Los Angeles Chargers GB Justin Herbert said Madison Beer has ‘changed my life forever’

The NFL star paid an emotional tribute to his pop star girlfriend on her 27th birthday
He also joked about her being his ‘goat’ in a series of posts about her on Instagram
Herbert, also 27, also shared a picture of pop star Beer petting a goat, and couldn’t resist the caption: ‘My goats’.
Chargers star Herbert is making the most of the offseason. His team were eliminated from the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs in early January, losing 16-3 to the New England Patriots.
Herbert had a nightmare that day, completing 19 passes out of 31 for 159 yards and, as the scoreline suggests, no touchdowns.
‘I didn’t play well enough and didn’t make any plays,’ he said after the Patriots loss. ‘And when it mattered most, we didn’t score any points.’
For all of Herbert’s undoubted talent, he still hasn’t won a playoff game yet in his career.
‘I haven’t figured it out yet, and it hasn’t happened,’ he said, addressing his unwanted statistic.
‘We’ll have to reevaluate and see what happens. Quarterback play wasn’t good enough.’
Beer, meanwhile, has a huge summer ahead of her.
She is embarking on a World Tour in support of her latest album, locket, which begins in May in Poland.
Beer begins a run of dates in the US in June in Austin, Texas on a North American tour that ends at New York’s Madison Square Garden in July.
