Cleveland Browns star Ronnie Hickman was reportedly jumped by a group of men outside a Lower East Side hotel in New York on Monday.

According to The New York Post, Hickman was confronted by four men in the lobby of the SIXTY LES hotel just after 4:30am.

A dispute is then said to have broken out and the suspects attacked Hickman, 24, before making off.

NYPD are now hunting the group and have not yet arrested anybody.

Hickman was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is in stable condition. It’s claimed he was released later on Monday.

Hickman is a New Jersey native and enjoying some downtime after the Browns finished their NFL season in January.

ABC7 claim that they group recognized Hickman and when he didn’t acknowledge them back, they started to attack him.

Hickman played college football at Ohio State University and later attended DePaul Catholic High School in Passaic, where he impressed.

After going undrafted in 2023, the Browns signed Hickman and he has impressed ever since.

His best season yet came in 2025 as a starter. However, he is now a restricted free agent going into the offseason.

Hickman is expected to re-sign with the Brown and is estimated to sign a contract worth in the region of $7million to $8m-a-year.
