San Francisco 49ers star running back Christian McCaffrey offered a rare glimpse into his off-field talents by joining country music star Zach Bryan on stage.

In the run up to Super Bowl LX, the city of San Francisco has been taken over by events and parties flooded with celebrities and athletes alike.

One of these celebrations was ‘Madden Bowl 2026’ where the likes of Bryan, Teddy Swims, Stephen Wilson Jr and many more performed for a packed audience at the Chase Center.

Bryan was performing his 2020 hit ‘Revival’ for the show’s encore to the delight of the crowd which included the likes of New York Giants legend Eli Manning and presumptive No. 1 overall pick Fernando Mendoza.

It was then that the ‘I Remember Everything’ singer introduced some members of his backing band. To the delight of the San Francisco crowd, Bryan revealed that McCaffrey had been playing the piano.

The star running back then belted out a quick solo on the keys to cheers from the crowd.

McCaffrey impressed the audience before Bryan wrapped up the hit song – his last of the night.

The running back rarely shows off his talents with the piano, but he was recently featured in a commercial with other NFL stars playing the instrument.

He also notably tickled the keys with Bryan in a performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater outside of Denver, Colorado.

This display of musical talent comes off the back of McCaffrey’s success at the NFL Honors when the running back won the league’s Comeback Player of the Year award.

McCaffrey suffered a serious Achilles injury – delaying his start to the season – before then hurting his knee to end his season.

But he returned in 2025 with 1,202 rushing yards and 924 receiving yards with 17 combined touchdowns.

In a year where the 49ers were severely impacted by injuries, McCaffrey remained healthy and was the best offensive player for a San Francisco team that reached the Divisional round of the playoffs.
