Broncos quarterback Bo Nix and his wife, Izzy, have announced they are expecting a child.
The couple, who have been married since 2022, took to Instagram on Friday to share the news with a joint post to the platform.
Nix and Izzy shared a picture of them walking hand-in-hand, with the Denver passer holding an ultrasound in the other hand.
‘Nix party of 3!!! ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.’ Jeremiah 1:5,’ the post was captioned.
The couple received plenty of congratulatory comments from others in the NFL world, such as Nix’s teammate Jarrett Stidham, Bucs receiver Tez Johnson and Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez.
Izzy also re-posted several congratulatory messages to her Story, including one from Stidham’s wife, Kennedy.

Nix and Izzy, who met while he played college football at Auburn, have been married since 2022
Nix, seen on October 5, is having another productive season for the Broncos at quarterback
‘MY BESTIES HAVIN A BABY,’ Kennedy wrote.
Izzy and Nix have been dating since the latter played college football at Auburn, with Izzy’s first public Instagram post with the passer coming in 2021.
The couple ultimately tied the knot in July 2022 in Alpine, Alabama.
After playing three seasons at Auburn, Nix went on to play two seasons at Oregon before being drafted No. 12 overall by the Broncos last year.
And he had a hugely promising rookie year in the NFL as he threw for 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns and completed 66.3 percent of his passes for Denver.
Nix and the Broncos are preparing to face the Jets in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
The Broncos finished the year with a 10-7 record and made the postseason before falling to the Chiefs in the divisional round.
Nix has started this year in similarly productive fashion, as he’s thrown eight touchdowns (against four interceptions) and averaged about 220 passing yards per contest.
Denver is 3-2 following wins over the Bengals and Eagles the last two weeks.
The Broncos will hope to keep that momentum going this weekend as they face the Jets in London.
They’ll then return home before hosting the Giants in Week 7.
