After watching the NFL’s showpiece Sunday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers, fans were livid by spending nearly four hours for only a tie.
The Packers and Cowboys finished four quarters and a 10-minute overtime with the second-highest-scoring tie in NFL history at 40-40.
A Brandon McManus field goal ended both the fourth quarter, and the game, bringing the Packers from down three points to level as the scoreboard reached zeroes.
The game featured Micah Parsons’ return to Dallas after being traded by the Cowboys to the Packers nearly a month ago.
Parsons only had one sack, in overtime, of Dak Prescott, who could not lead Dallas to its second win of the season.
NFL fans were pissed neither team could pull out the win and took their frustrations out online.

‘Can’t be an all-time Classic if it’s a tie,’ a second person stated.
‘Tie games SUCK,’ former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III added.
‘Everyone should hate ties… teams work their tails off for a win. I absolutely hate them,’ Chase Daniel continued.
‘Lolololol. This game ends in a tie……. wild. For a game like this, I get it. Ridiculous,’ a fifth person said.
‘The sheer silence from the crowd after the tie was great. Do we cheer? Boo? Was that good? Probably a fair reaction,’ a sixth concluded.
A collection of messages on the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers’ game ending in a tie
The Packers will go on bye, not having won a game since Week 2 against the Washington Commanders.
The Cowboys are not idle and will face the New York Jets on Sunday, making their first of two trips to MetLife Stadium this season.
Dallas did hold the lead for the majority of the game, giving signs that this season did not actually end before it began with Parsons’ departure.
Yet, the Cowboys have still only won one of their first four games of the season.
