Estranged San Francisco 49ers star Brandon Aiyuk has accused the NFL Players Association of starting a ‘smear campaign’ against him in another explosive rant on social media.
Aiyuk, who recently went AWOL from the 49ers earlier amid his desire to be traded, has sparked concern in recent weeks after firing his long-time agent and vowing to tank his own career in order to leave San Francisco.
The 28-year-old also faced a backlash last week after appearing to feed raw chicken to his two dogs and kick one of them in the head in a concerning video, just days after he dared California police to come and get him following a warrant put out for his arrest.
Now Aiyuk has made a bombshell claim against the NFLPA in a post on his Instagram story, which details an alleged conversation he had with the organization after telling them he didn’t want to appeal the 49ers’ voiding of his guarantees.
‘They was like “BA we’re taking 30 mil out of your contract..” I was like “okay..”‘ he wrote.
The wide receiver, who has set his sights on joining the Washington Commanders, continued: ‘[NFLPA] was like “do you want me to appeal it and try to get it back??”

‘I was like “nah I’m just gone go to DC” – They was like “okay.. we’re gonna start a smear campaign to try and tarnish your NIL”‘.
He added: ‘I was like “okay.. that’s gone make me sad but I’m still going to DC” – NFLPA was like “zipped-mouth emoji”‘
The Daily Mail has approached the NFL Players Association for comment.
Aiyuk has been lashing out on social media and was recently the subject of an arrest warrant over a December YouTube post purportedly showing him driving a Cadillac at over 100mph.
It was around that time the 49ers placed him on the reserve list with a ‘left squad’ designation as head coach Kyle Shanahan admitted he had not seen him ‘in forever.’
He’s since fired his long-time agent, which he revealed in the online rant while daring police to arrest him.
Aiyuk caused a stir again earlier this month after sharing some disturbing clips on his Instagram story, which seemingly capture him booting one of his two dogs in the head.
In the first video he is seen feeding his pets raw chicken, which is considered unsafe for both dogs and their human owners due to the Salmonella and Campylobacter bacteria that exists in the uncooked meat.
After also giving them sardines covered in oil, Aiyuk then lets one of his dogs lick the oil-covered bowl before trying to give it to the other one.

The wide receiver has sparked concern with some of his behavior online in recent weeks
Aiyuk appeared to kick one of his dogs in a controversial video on his Instagram story
Yet when the first dog attempts to come back over and continue licking it, Aiyuk uses his foot to move him out of the way and can be heard saying: ‘Watch out n**** move!’
A few seconds later he then appears to kick the same dog in the head, this time for reasons which are unclear.
Aiyuk has come under fire online over the video, with one fan writing: ‘What is wrong with Brandon Aiyuk, that’s disgusting’.
Another put: ‘Poor doggie’.
While a third predicted: ‘Well that’ll do it!!! He is about to be banned from the league’.
However, the video has divided opinion on social media, with some users arguing that Aiyuk simply nudged his dog away from the other using his foot, which is perfectly normal when feeding them.
‘He moved him so he could put the plate down, yall stretching now,’ one claimed.
Another commented: ‘Aiyuk is a moron but come on…he’s just trying to move the other dog back so he can feed the other one.’
While a third wrote: ‘this is such an over exaggeration come on’.
