Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers is due for his medical at Chelsea today.
Daily Mail Sport reported yesterday that Rogers’s former club Middlesbrough will pocket around £20.2million from Morgan Rogers’ £117m transfer to Chelsea, which would represent a record sell-on fee in the Premier League.

The ex-Boro midfielder is set for a move to Stamford Bridge after Chelsea struck a verbal agreement with Aston Villa, after Arsenal had failed to back up their interest with a suitable bid.
When Boro agreed to sell him to Aston Villa, in February 2024, for £16m, they inserted a 20 per cent sell-on clause on any profit generated from a future transfer in the England international’s contract.
Diop discussing Portman Road switch
Fulham defender Issa Diop is in talks over an £8.5million move to Ipswich.
The 29-year-old played for Morocco at the World Cup and is discussing a four-year contract with Gary O’Neil’s side.
