Kylie Kelce has come in for criticism once again after complaining about the impact of her family’s fame on her young children in her latest podcast episode.
The Kelce family were catapulted into the spotlight when Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift in 2023 – their impending wedding has gripped legions of the singer’s fans across the globe.
Off the back of their newfound fame, the family have all since made the most of the multiple opportunities that have come their way. That includes Kylie, the mother of four who now hosts her weekly podcast ‘Not Gonna Lie’.
But recently, her apparent disdain for some of the attention she gets has seen fans call her out. In April, she bizarrely ranted about being asked for details on the upcoming Kelce-Swift wedding and has now said she finds it ‘sad’ that her children have picked up on the fact their family are famous.
Responding to a fan question on whether her daughters enjoy their ‘fame’, Kylie said: ‘First of all, yuck. Oh, God. That’s terrible.
‘The girls think that it’s funny. They think it’s funny when we go out in public, people say, “Are you Jason Kelce?” And then we go back to the house, and they say, “are you Jason Kelce?'”.

‘It makes me sad that this is the reality. I want them to have as normal an upbringing as possible.’
She added, when asked about how she would like people to treat her family: ‘I think that we should collectively leave them (her children) out of it. Okay? Great. Let’s do that.’
But her comments have been called out by some fans for her apparent double-standard given how much of her personal life she has been willing to share in the past.
‘Sorry but did she not put her week-old newborn’s face on camera?????’ one fan wrote on X, referencing Kylie introducing newborn baby Finnley on a March 2025 episode of New Heights to Travis.
A different fan said: ‘She went out of her way to start a podcast where her children are the central talking piece all by herself. She sought out fame and now is pretending to be affected by the big bad monster? Please. Respect my intelligence.’
‘Then why include her children in their documentaries, feature them repeatedly on their podcasts, not to mention include them in ads. Like…this is a mess of her own making here,’ said a different observer.
Another take read: ‘All I see her doing these days is complaining about something maybe don’t start a podcast in the first place.’
Kelce, 34, started her podcast in November 2024, a little over a year after Swift’s relationship with Travis became public news by the singer attending a Chiefs NFL game.

She has had some very high-profile guests on her show since then, ranging from Michelle Obama to Hilary Duff.
Whether she likes it or not, the Kelce family will be center stage in the coming weeks for the big wedding.
It has been reported that Swift and Kelce will marry at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan on July 3.
And as Daily Mail exclusively reported this week, some even think that the couple could invite fans to witness the spectacle.
