- Jake Paul and Mike Tyson hit the scales on Thursday night ahead of their fight
- Friday’s fight will be in front of around 70,000 fans and is being aired on Netflix
Mike Tyson landed a slap on Jake Paul at their ceremonial weigh-in on Thursday night.
Paul and Tyson hit the scales just 24 hours before they will meet in the ring at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.
After they had both weighed in, the pair came together for the customary face-off, but Tyson took the opportunity to lash out as he slapped the YouTuber.
Tyson and Paul were swiftly separated, before Iron Mike was asked for his final words before his first professional fight in almost two decades.
Tyson simply replied: ‘Talk is over,’ before walking off stage.
But Paul was left furious by his opponent’s actions as he vowed to make Tyson pay.
‘Mike Tyson, I thought that was a cute slap, buddy. But tomorrow, you’re going to get knocked the f*** out,’ Paul told Ariel Helwani.
‘I’m f***ing him up, Ariel. I’m f***ing him up. He hits like a b****. It’s personal now! He must die!’
Just moments earlier, Tyson had outweighed Paul by just over a pound. Having previously operated as a cruiserweight, Paul has bulked up to take on Tyson ans weighed in at 227.2lbs.
Tyson then stepped up wearing Versace pants, and looked in incredible condition, especially considering he turned 58 in July, as he tipped the scales at 228.4lbs.
