Marcus Rashford has reportedly stepped up his efforts to leave Man United in January after holding talks with a leading sports agency.
Prior to their loss against Newcastle, Rashford was left out of United’s squad for four games by Ruben Amorim, sparking much debate about the forward’s future.
The United forward then revealed in an interview that he’s ‘ready for a new challenge’ and now it’s been reported that he’s taken the first steps trying to leave United.
According to The Sun, Rashford has held talks with leading sports agency Stellar in the hope of landing a move away from Old Trafford this month.
The same agency helped land Gareth Bale’s stunning £86million move from Tottenham to Real Madrid back in 2013.
The United star is currently represented by brother Dwaine Maynard but the outlet claim he’s willing to join Stellar to help push through a move.

Rashford was left out of United’s squad for four games by Ruben Amorim in recent weeks
Rashford’s last appearance for United was on December 12 when he played 56 minutes against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League.
He was left out of the squad for games against Manchester City, Tottenham, Bournemouth and Wolves.
Rashford, who has spent his entire career at United, indicated that he wanted a fresh challenge after being left out.
Speaking to journalist Henry Winter, Rashford said: ‘For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.
‘When I leave it’s going to be “no hard feelings”. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.
‘If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse.
‘I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me.’
Those comments prompted Amorim to question the player’s entourage.

‘It is a hard situation,’ said Amorim. ‘I understand that these players have a lot of people around them, and they sometimes make choices that are not the first idea from the player. I understand, I can separate things.
‘I am always here to help Marcus, as any other player.
‘They have to do what they have to do. They chose to do the interview because it’s not just Marcus. I understand that.’
Rashford, whose United contract runs until the summer of 2028, has made 426 appearances for the club and has scored 138 goals.
