President Donald Trump’s Oval Office briefing was upstaged Thursday as social media users went wild over a man with a protruding belly button.

The unidentified man with a noticeable belly button was seen standing behind Trump during an Oval Office session with the press that came after the president and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said they would ease a Biden-era rule that requires U.S. businesses to reduce greenhouse gases used in cooling equipment.

Along with the announcement, Trump addressed a variety of other subjects, including whether the Republican Senate majority would agree to the $1 billion he is demanding to fund parts of his controversial White House ballroom.

But none of that mattered to the Internet, where social media users had a field day sharing screenshots of the man’s swelled-up belly button ballooning through his striped shirt.

“The only thing more outrageous than Trump here is the bulging belly button,” one X user exclaimed.

“Can someone please move Bellybutton Man out of frame,” another user chimed in.

“You’re gonna put out an eye with that bellybutton,” one user joked.

“The state of that bellybutton and how low the baby is sitting in there…I’m going to say it’s a boy,” another X user joked.

“Will this guy live down his bellybutton picture? Laughter is the best medicine,” another person quipped.

During the session with the media, Trump said he didn’t know if he was losing a grip on the Republican Senate majority, as senators prepare to advance a border security funding bill that would exclude the $1 billion he is demanding for the White House ballroom.

“I don’t need money for the ballroom,” he said, adding that the idea of needing taxpayer money to fund the project was “the biggest misreporting that I’ve ever seen.”

“It’s being done in conjunction with the military, and with the very much in conjunction with the military and Secret Service. We’re on time, on budget. It’s going beautifully. Have all the money I need,” Trump claimed.
