Michael Carrick hasn’t got overblown expectations for today – then again, he won’t want to see a 6-0 drubbing from the Championship side.
He told MUTV: ‘We will be taking it step by step, but it is great to be back.
‘I am looking for a good performance, but it is more about the boys getting a step up in fitness.
‘I am looking forward to the game and excited to seeing the youngsters try and stake a claim
‘He [Santos] is a fantastic character who has settled in really well,
‘Hopefully we can play well for all our fans here and we never take their support for granted.’
