Drone restrictions are to be put in place in Manchester city centre during the Conservative Party Conference.
The conference is taking place at Manchester Central and the Midland Hotel between 4-8 October.
Flight restrictions will be imposed from 03:00 BST on 4 October until 16:00 on 8 October to keep delegates and the wider public safe during the event, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
GMP said the airspace restrictions means it will be an offence to fly aircraft below (1,066m) 3,500ft above sea level in a designated area with a radius of two nautical miles from the city centre without permission, and offenders could be prosecuted and have their equipment seized and confiscated.
