South African police on Friday arrested a man suspected of murdering his wife and two daughters in Britain.
British police said on Wednesday that Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, a British citizen of Zimbabwean heritage, was wanted in connection with the deaths of three people at a property in Bedford, suspected to be his wife Nothabo Zandile Tshuma and his daughters Natalie and Nala.
British police released a CCTV image of him and said he was believed to have left Heathrow Airport on a British passport on July 4 and travelled to Zimbabwe.
“The South African Police Service has successfully located and arrested Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma,” South African police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said in televised comments on Friday.
