A 75-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of taking pictures up a woman’s skirt on a train in York, the British Transport Police (BTP) have said.
A woman was gathering her belongings as she prepared to leave the Harrogate to York service about 5.20pm on June 19 when she was told that a man had taken photos up her skirt.
The woman challenged the man and continued to confront him on the platform at York station, according to BTP.
She reported the incident to station staff, who called BTP, but the man left the station on a bike.
The suspect has since been bailed pending further inquiries, the force said on Sunday.
