The stretch of road that will be closed
Maintenance work is set to be carried out on the A495 Mereside in Ellesmere from 16 to 22 May (weekdays only).
While work is being carried out the road will be closed from 9.30am to 4pm each day, and a signed diversion will be in place. Depending on their vehicle type road users may be able to use an alternative diversion route.
The majority of the work will be patching and pothole repairs, but there will also be gully adjustments and kerb resets.
Work is being carried out by Multevo on behalf of Shropshire Council.
Access will be maintained for local residents and businesses within the closure when safe to do so. Access will be also be provided for emergency vehicles, school buses and taxis.
