Lyon’s brilliant young winger Malick Fofana would fit the bill perfectly at one of the top Premier League teams, his representatives have said.
The 20-year-old was the subject of plenty of interest over the summer but ended up staying in France.
Not for long, insists transfer market mover and shaker Frederico Pena, a senior figure at the Roc Nation agency who look after Fofana.
Pena told Belgian newspaper De Morgen: ‘This is the season in which Fofana wants to show himself to the world, especially at the World Cup.
‘If he succeeds, he can move from Lyon to a top 10 club. At Roc Nation, we strongly believe in him. Liverpool, Bayern [Munich], Man City – those are the clubs where he belongs.’
The Belgium international would cost over £50million as Lyon’s most marketable star.
