Lakers star Luka Doncic appeared focused as he arrived for their game against the Timberwolves on Tuesday night, marking his first appearance since announcing his split from his fiancee.
The 27-year-old took time to sign autographs for a swarm of eager fans near the tunnel before facing Minnesota at Crypto.com Arena.
The Slovenian basketball star maintained a professional demeanor as he greeted the supporters despite his ongoing turmoil off the court.
Doncic’s appearance came just hours after he confirmed that he had split from his fiancee Anamaria Goltes amid a deepening legal battle.
He was reportedly left blindsided on Tuesday when Goltes filed a petition in a California court seeking significant child support and attorney fees.
In a statement provided to ESPN, he said: ‘I love my daughters more than anything and I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the US during the season, but that hasn’t been possible, so I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement.

Just hours before the Lakers star spoke out, TMZ reported that Goltes had filed a petition in California seeking child support and attorney fees from Doncic, but not a custody order.
The document is reported to state that Anamaria moved back to Slovenia with their eldest daughter in May 2025, where they have remained ever since. She gave birth to their second daughter in December 2025.
ESPN report that Doncic had ‘no idea’ Goltes had filed the petition, which comes six months on from him signing a massive $165 million contract extension with the Lakers.
Doncic proposed to fitness model Goltes – his childhood sweetheart – in July 2023, after the pair had dated for seven years.
She had raised concerns over the stability of their relationship in January when she posted a cryptic social media post opening up on ‘a decade of hard lessons’, with Doncic conspicuous by his absence.
The NBA star missed time for the Lakers in December when he flew back to Slovenia for the birth of his second daughter Olivia.

ESPN report that during that visit, he expressed his desire to bring his first daughter Gabriela, 2, back to California with him, but a disagreement ensued and the police were called to the maternity ward of the hospital.
Officers, it is claimed, ‘did not detect any elements of a criminal offense or misdemeanor perpetrated by Doncic.’
The player is said to have not seen his ex-fiancee or daughters since that incident, having flown back to the United States later that day.
When he returned, Doncic hinted at the whirlwind visit when he told reporters: ‘I don’t even know how to describe it. It was a lot. I was there for the birth of my daughter, so that means everything to me. But it was definitely a rollercoaster.’
