A Love Island star’s performance at the Eurovision Song Contest has left viewers divided.

Antigoni Buxton, who appeared in the eighth series of the reality show in 2022, performed dance floor hit “Jalla” as she represented Cyprus on Thursday (14 May).

The singer, who is from north London, stepped onto the stage at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria in the second-semi final to compete for a spot in the grand final on Saturday (16 May).

Viewers were quick to comment on the reality star’s performance. “Cyprus’s vocals were such a struggle,” wrote one user, whilst another said: “Poor Antigoni, that went so wrong.”

However, others praised the singer’s performance as “incredible” and “vibrant”.
