Social media star Livvy Dunne is heading to Hollywood.

The influencer and former LSU gymnast has joined the upcoming ‘Baywatch’ reboot, alongside Shay Mitchell and Brooks Nader, according to TMZ.

Sources told the outlet that Dunne – who is dating MLB pitcher Paul Skenes – will play a character named Grace in the new series.

Dunne confirmed the news herself after responding to a report about her role, posting a message to her followers on X which read: ‘Time to get to work!!!’

It marks just the latest venture for the former LSU gymnast, who graced the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for the very first time back in May 2025.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, Dunne put Hollywood on alert by revealing that she is taking acting lessons.

Livvy Dunne is hoping to make a breakthrough in the acting world in the near future

The NCAA champion revealed she had held a long-standing interest in acting and after leaving school, finally has time to pursue it as an interest.

Speaking to People, the 23-year-old Dunne revealed: ‘One thing people would be surprised about is that I take acting lessons and I really love it.

‘It’s something I’ve been passionate about for quite some time. I was interested in doing that at LSU, but sports are your top priority when you’re a student-athlete at school; school and sports, but really gymnastics was my main focus.

‘And now that I’m done with school, I have more time to lean into the acting stuff and the creative side of things.’

Dunne added that she is open to starring in a television show or a movie when the right opportunity emerges for her.

She added: ‘feel like collabing on creativity and seeing the end result, having something be great after, that’s something that I love.

‘Whether it’s gymnastics or acting in a movie or a TV show, I just think watching all your hard work pay off, whether it’s an individual thing or a group thing, I think it’s so cool.’

The Baywatch reboot’s growing cast includes Stephen Amell as ‘Hobie,’ Jessica Belkin as ‘Charlie,’ Noah Beck as ‘Luke,’ Shay Mitchell as ‘Trina,’ Hassie Harrison as ‘Nat,’ Thaddeus LaGrone as ‘Brad,’ Brooks Nader as ‘Selene,’ and David Chokachi as ‘Cody.’

Insiders say the cast held their first table read last week and are ‘excited about how the project is coming along.’

Amell’s character will be the son of Mitch Buchannon – the iconic lifeguard played by David Hasselhoff in the original series – though Hasselhoff has not yet been confirmed to return.

The reboot is slated to air on Fox later this year.
