Andoni Iraola is a candidate to take over at Liverpool after they sacked Arne Slot.
The former Bournemouth manager is in the frame, along with several others, and has high-profile admirers at Anfield.
Liverpool director of football Richard Hughes appointed Iraola at Bournemouth, sacking Gary O’Neil to bring in the Spaniard.
Now Iraola has attracted interest from Crystal Palace, who are looking for a replacement for Oliver Glasner, and Bayer Leverkusen, who have parted company with Kasper Hjulmund.
Iraola, who opted to leave Bournemouth rather than sign a new contract, took them to their highest ever league finish, of sixth, as they qualified for Europe for the first time and went unbeaten in his final 18 league games in charge.
Liverpool decided to dismiss Slot following an end-of-season review into a campaign when they finished fifth and lost 19 games in all competitions.

They had backed the Dutchman until then but said in a club statement: “That this was a difficult decision for us to make as a club goes without saying.
“The contribution Arne has made to Liverpool FC in the time that he has been with us has been significant, meaningful and – most importantly of all to supporters and ourselves – successful.
“As such, our appreciation for everything he has achieved could not be greater, particularly as it was underpinned by a work ethic, a diligence and a level of expertise which further underlined our view that he is a leader in his field.
“At the same time, we have collectively come to the conclusion that change is necessary in order for the club to keep moving forward. Again, it must be stressed that this is not a decision which has been reached lightly, anything but.”
