Liverpool are all trying to work out what Mohamed Salah’s latest Instagram post might mean.
The Egyptian posted a clip on his story on Saturday night and it has certainly got Reds supporters talking.
In the video, Salah can be seen relaxing on a sofa with Anfield team-mates Ibrahima Konate, Dominik Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The camera was fixed was fixed on Konate and Szoboszlai before it panned to Alexander-Arnold.
While the sound was turned off, Alexander-Arnold appeared to be the main focus of the chat and viewers quickly wondered whether the conversation was about reports that he is set to join Real Madrid in the summer.
On Tuesday, Mail Sport reported that Los Blancos remain confident of signing Alexander-Arnold this summer – with sources in Spain suggesting the move is ‘all set and done’.

With the defender out of contract in the summer – alongside Virgil van Dijk and Salah – he has continually been linked with the Spanish giants.
The news has not been received well on the red half of Merseyside with fans even going as far as to burn shirts with his name on this past week.
However, Salah’s social media post has given some hope that he may reconsider.
‘Mo Salah has had Dominik Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold come around for what looks like a proper deep conversation about all the rumours about his move to Madrid,’ wrote one. ‘Is this the intervention we’ve all been waiting for?’
‘Szoboszlai and Mo trying to persuade Trent or we overthinking it?’ wrote another while one said ‘Salah, Konate and Szobo tryna convince Trent to stay or what??!’
Another had a similar response, claiming the trio had ‘brought Trent in for an interrogation.’
Alexander-Arnold’s potential departure is a significant blow to Liverpool as not only has he risen through the ranks, but he is viewed as one of the best full backs in the world.
After joining their academy at the age of six, the defender made his debut as an 18-year-old in an EFL Cup tie against Tottenham in 2018.
He has since gone onto rack up 349 appearances and has been a cornerstone in Liverpool’s immense success over recent years.
Across his time at Anfield, Alexander-Arnold has scored 22 goals and added 87 assists.

Meanwhile, the defender – who has won eight trophies with his boyhood club – was appointed as vice-captain in the summer of 2023.
In recent times, he has been challenged in his position by Conor Bradley and several fans felt that Alexander-Arnold should be superseded by the Northern Irishman in the remaining games this season – while they also called for him to be stripped of the vice-captaincy.
