Funding of up to £100,000 for UK registered businesses to grow innovation activities in the life and health sciences cluster in Northern Ireland.
The competition opens on Monday 20 October, and closes at 1100 am on Wednesday 26 November 2025.
Who it is for
This competition is open to single applicants only.
Your project must
• have a grant funding request between £25,000 and £100,000
• last between 6 and 12 months
• carry out all of its project work in the UK
• intend to exploit the results from or in the UK
• not start before 1 April 2026
• end by 31 March 2027
As a lead organisation, your business must
• be a UK registered micro, small or medium sized enterprise (SME)
• be growing your innovation activities in the life and health sciences cluster in Northern Ireland
• have a demonstrable ambition for business growth
Support you can get
This competition aims to support outstanding innovation projects led by businesses. Businesses successful in applying through this competitive process must use the funding to grow their innovation activities in the life and health sciences cluster in Northern Ireland, both during and after the project
Total project costs will be eligible for up to 100% funding, up to the maximum grant value of £100,000, subject to MFA subsidy rules.
