Lamar Jackson is bringing his talents to the screen, as he announced his first-ever acting role on Friday.
Jackson will guest star in a forthcoming episode of Power Book III: Raising Kanan, he wrote on Instagram, as she shared a first look of himself in character as ‘E-Tone.’
‘I’m so excited for fans to see me in this new role and thrilled to be a part of ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan,’ he wrote.
‘My character, E-Tone is a deadly, dangerous character- you don’t want to get on his bad side!’
In a still from the show, Jackson can be seen with a mean look on his face and a large gold chain around his neck.
Rapper Joey Bada$$, whose ‘Unique’ character is also a regular on the show, is in the scene beside him.

Jackson finished as the runner-up in MVP voting but the Ravens lost in the divisional round
Jackson’s foray into acting comes after he produced a career year for the Ravens at quarterback.
The 28-year-old notched career-highs in passing yards (4,172) and passing touchdowns (41), but Baltimore fell short of the Super Bowl once again.
The Ravens lost in the divisional round to the Bills, 27-25, before Josh Allen’s squad lost to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
Jackson also narrowly missed out on his third MVP award, with Allen pipping him for the honor for the first time.
The quarterback has a staggering 70-24 regular season record with the Ravens, and will hope his team can finally get over the hump next season.
While the official schedule has not yet been released, Baltimore will make trips to Buffalo, Kansas City and Miami next season, and will host the Texans, Rams and Lions, in addition to facing their AFC North rivals per usual.
