Kelly Osbourne is missing her “daddy” Ozzy Osbourne as she remembers him on the anniversary of his death.

“One year ago today, the world changed forever,” she wrote in a lengthy letter honoring her late father via Instagram on Tuesday.

“Today I sit beside you in a way I never thought would be possible. I know you are still with me. I feel you in the quiet, in the wind, in every song that stops me in my tracks, is [sic] the smell of your cologne and in every moment that the love outweighs the grief. You are all around me.”

“The hardest part isn’t that you’re gone. The hardest part is that I can’t touch you. I can’t hold your hand. I can’t wrap my arms around you or feel the safety that only you could give me. I always thought life was hard, but life without you has been the hardest thing I have ever had to endure.”

She continued: “You are my everything. My protector. My greatest teacher. My best friend. The apple of my eye. My reason.”

The former “Fashion Police” star, 41, added that she fondly looks back on their “beautiful memories” together, and how through “all the madness,” he “somehow made every moment worthwhile.”

“I have never loved anyone or anything as deeply, as uniquely as I love you. And now I carry all of that love with nowhere to place it except within me, my son, and mumma. It aches every single day, but it is also the greatest privilege of my life. To have loved someone so completely,” she wrote.

Osbourne has been missing her dad a little bit more as of late. On Father’s Day, she also penned a touching tribute to her father.

“Dad, I still find myself looking for you in ordinary moments the advice I need, the joke I want to tell, the victory I wish you could see,” the TV personality wrote via Instagram at the time alongside throwback photos with the Black Sabbath frontman.

“The ache of missing you is the price of loving you, and I would pay it forever rather than have never been your child at all!” she added.

I will never stop missing you. It is an honor to spend the rest of my life loving you. Until we meet again! 💔.”

Ozzy tragically died on July 22, 2025 following a battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was 76.

In the years leading up to his death, Ozzy revealed his diagnosis in 2020.

Ozzy shared daughters Kelly and Aimee Osbourne, 42, and son Jack Osbourne, 40, with his wife, Sharon Osbourne.

Additionally, he was a father to Elliot Kingsley, 60, Jessica Osbourne, 47, and Louis Osbourne, 51, whom he shared with his ex-wife, Thelma Riley, whom he was married to from 1971 to 1982.
