Juventus are interested in Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali – and could offer Dusan Vlahovic as part of a deal.
Tonai became a vital player for Eddie Howe’s side last season having served a 10-month suspension after breaching betting regulations.
The Italian star made 45 appearances for the Magpies, who won the League Cup and secured a place in the Champions League.
Tonali is attracting interest from Serie A, with Juventus reportedly viewing the midfielder as a dream signing, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
While the Italian side are aware that their chances of landing the 24-year-old are slim, they are still expected to make an attempt.
Juventus could look to take advantage of the situation surrounding Alexander Isak, who is keen on leaving Newcastle for Liverpool.

Newcastle remaing on the hunt for a new striker amid Liverpool’s interest in Alexander Isak
The Serie A giants have offered Dusan Vlahovic to Newcastle, who remain on the search for a new striker after Benjamin Sesko rejected them in favour of joining Manchester United.
Juventus are keen to move on from Vlahovic, with just a year remaining on his deal, after a disappointing season and concerns over his reported £321,000-a-week salary.
Former Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz and Nicolo Savona could also be offered to Newcastle in a potential deal for Tonali.
Juventus know Tonali is worth more and would be willing to make a financial sacrifice to land him.
Newcastle have endured a disappointing summer having been rejected by the likes of Bryan Mbeumo, Joao Pedro, Matheus Cunha, Marc Guehi and James Trafford – with Sesko appearing set to be the latest to add to that lengthy list.
However, there is still confidence that Yoane Wissa’s move from Brentford will go through once the London club find their own replacement.
