Josh Boyden has signed a one-year extension to his Lancashire contract.
Boyden, 20, made his Championship debut last summer while also playing three games in the One-Day Cup.
The left-arm seamer, a former England Under-19 international, will compete for a place in the bowling attack as Lancashire aim for promotion out of Division Two.
“Josh provides us with a left-arm seam option and has the ability to swing the ball into the right-hander,” said, external director of cricket performance Mark Chilton.
