Jaxson Dart sent Giants fans wild on Sunday as he immediately led a touchdown drive in his first start with the team.
The rookie was handed the keys to Big Blue’s offense earlier this week as veteran Russell Wilson was benched after just three games with his new franchise.
And Dart wasted little time making an impression on the home fans in East Rutherford as he led a 89-yard touchdown drive in his first series.
The former Ole Miss star was surgical on the drive, completing both of his pass attempts to Malik Nabers before sprinting 15 yards into the end zone on a designed run.
He totaled 28 rushing yards on the drive and danced following his score as MetLife Stadium erupted.
Fellow rookie Cam Skattebo also played a pivotal role on the drive as he rushed four times for 27 yards.
