Iran’s supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, warned of “unforgettable lessons” if the U.S. continues its attacks in a statement read on state television.
Khamenei also declared U.S. President Donald Trump’s signature “worthless and invalid” after an Iranian negotiator stated Tehran was suspending its commitments to an interim deal to end the war.
The developments come as the United States and Iran exchanged more strikes Saturday, targeting infrastructure and military sites, escalating the conflict over the essential Strait of Hormuz.
The U.S. Central Command confirmed its seventh straight night of strikes, hitting “surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage, and maritime capabilities.”
The most significant damage from Iranian strikes Saturday occurred in Kuwait, where a water desalination plant and an oil facility were hit, Kuwait authorities and the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said.
