Vanessa Trump will resent Tiger Woods deep down for being in rehab while she received her breast cancer diagnosis, a source has told the Daily Mail.
Vanessa – the ex-wife of President Donald Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr. – revealed on Wednesday night that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is ‘working closely’ with doctors on a treatment plan.
The mother-of-five made the devastating announcement on Instagram, while adding that she had undergone a ‘procedure’ earlier in the week.
It comes just weeks after boyfriend Woods, whom she has been dating for just over a year, checked himself into rehab after being charged with driving under the influence following a car crash in Jupiter, Florida on March 27.
Police reportedly found prescription opioid pills in his possession at the time of the arrest, which he had been using to manage chronic injury pain. Woods has pleaded not guilty to DUI.
And despite giving him an ‘ultimatum’ to seek professional help, Vanessa will be hurt by the fact the golf legend wasn’t there in her hour of need when she received the cancer diagnosis, an insider has claimed.

The mother-of-five revealed on Wednesday that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer
‘This is why she was so adamant that he get treatment and get himself on the right track. She was facing a health scare and Tiger wasn’t able to really be there for her. So she was like, “I’m not going through this and holding your hand for addiction at the same time.” That was basically the ultimatum she gave,’ the source told the Daily Mail.
‘She’s got a huge support system aside from Tiger, but obviously she has enough on her plate to not have to worry about him and his addiction. So he went for treatment.
‘She may not be saying she resents that he wasn’t here for all that, but the fact remains that she was getting a cancer diagnosis and he wasn’t there. He wasn’t able to support her like she needed. So she may not be saying that, but I know Vanessa and I guarantee that she’s thinking it. I know that 100 percent.’
Vanessa said in her Instagram post on Wednesday that she was grateful to her doctors for performing the procedure.
The 48-year-old also added that she is ‘staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids and those closest to me.’
And she has made it clear to those in her inner circle that she will fight the illness with everything she’s got.
The insider said: ‘She’s got too much to live for, she’s going to fight like hell. She’s made that clear to everyone. Don’t pity her. Don’t treat her like she’s going to break. She’s going to fight and she’s going to beat this.’
The latest saga is the fourth time Woods has been in trouble after being behind the wheel of a car.

Woods will now focus entirely on standing by Vanessa’s side as she battles breast cancer
He was arrested for another DUI in 2017 after police found him slumped in his car in Florida with five drugs in his system, including two painkillers.
Woods was later involved in a similar crash in 2021 in California, which shattered his right leg after he was trapped under the vehicle. He needed multiple surgeries in order to recover from his injuries.
He also crashed into a fire hydrant in November 2009 as he tried to flee his Florida home after wife Elin Nordegren discovered he had been having an affair. It sparked an unraveling of his reputation that he has never truly recovered from.
After spending 40 days in rehab out in Switzerland, though, the 15-time major champion plans to be firmly by Vanessa’s side throughout her cancer battle.
‘He’s going to be there for her, every step of the way,’ the source continued. ‘She stood behind him with his rehab, so now it’s time for him to repay the favor. Anything she needs, she’ll get from him. He’s worried, he’s concerned for her health and safety.
‘I won’t say that he’s devastated or anything, because he’s in the “she’s going to beat this” mode. He’s faced adversity and come out on top, he knows she can do the same.
‘This is why he wanted to get his s*** in order, so that he could be there for her. He wanted to be clean and sober and healthy so he could be her support. That’s what he’s doing now. Anything she wants, anything she needs. He is there for her.’
