Sydney Roosters star Angus Crichton and Chloe Esegbona have tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at the Krinklewood Estate in New South Wales, in front of a star-studded guest list, featuring some big names from around the NRL.
The ceremony, which took place on Monday, comes after Crichton, and several other guests, including James Tedesco, Spencer Leniu and Victor Radley all turned out in the Roosters’ 36-26 victory against the Dolphins on Friday night.
Crichton, who started in the second row, beamed from ear to ear as he donned a black tuxedo completed by a white boutonniere.
Esegbona, meanwhile, stunned in a beautiful gown which featured a stunning floral pattern that was adorned with what appeared to be sprinklings of pearls.
The wedding party were seen sipping Aperol Spritz and chattering as they soaked up the New South Wales sunshine at the lavish Krinklewood Estate that has hosted other Aussie sporting stars this year, including Matildas star Emily Van Egmond, who wed her partner Kat Thomas at the beginning of 2025.
Several huge names from the world of rugby league were in attendance including former Roosters enforcer Dylan Napa, who was seen laughing and smiling with the happy couple as they celebrated in the sunshine.

Connor Watson crossed over for a try on Friday night, his third try of the 2025 season, and on Monday, donned a suave tuxedo with a bow tie for the event alongside Crichton’s 22-year-old second-row partner Siua Wong, who enjoyed a good hit out on Friday.
England star Radley, who also touched down to help the Roosters claim their fourth win of the season, was seen laughing as he chatted to other guests at the venue.
Tedesco and his wife, Maria, who is expecting their second baby, were also in attendance. Maria, who was wearing a glamorous red dress, glowed as she showed off her baby bump. The pair announced the exciting news earlier this February, sharing a cute photo alongside a heartwarming picture of their daughter Rosie, writing that she was set to become a big sister.
Her footy star husband was also seen arriving with Roosters scrum half Sam Walker.
Some of Crichton’s former Roosters and Kangaroos team-mates also attended the lavish ceremony, including now-retired Roosters captain Boyd Cordner.
Crichton and Esegbona announced their engagement in December 2024, capping off what was an incredible year for the footy star.
The 29-year-old second-row dropped down on one knee outside the iconic Midland Hotel in Manchester, during a romantic trip to the United Kingdom during the off-season, where he popped the question.
‘Cannot wait to make you my wife,’ Crichton wrote on Instagram as he shared the moment with his 94,000 followers, family and friends.
It looked as though his partner, Esegbona, had been caught off-guard by the moment, too.

She had been holding a takeaway coffee at the time and looked shocked, saying: ‘No You’re not, oh my god!’
Many of his team-mates and colleagues from around the NRL, including Radley, Bradman Best and Dylan Edwards congratulated the couple on the happy news.
Though it is not known for how long the pair had been dating before they were engaged, Crichton and Esegbona’s relationship became public knowledge after the pair were pictured kissing following the first State of Origin Test last June.
Prior to that, Crichton had shared several snaps of Esegbona on social media on their travels around the world but their relationship status remained unclear.
The footy star had enjoyed an outstanding season for the Roosters and was also handed the Brad Fittler Medal for leading NSW to a huge 2-1 victory over Queensland during last year’s State of Origin Series.
Crichton had split from Olympian Morgan Mitchell in 2022 and subsequently suffered significant mental health challenges in the 12 months that followed – with the footy star going on to make 13 appearances for the Roosters in 2023.
During a holiday overseas, the footy star recounted how his mental health had deteriorated and was involved in a police incident in Paris.
‘The police had just tasered me … they strapped me to this stretcher and tasered me. Imagine if you had a bunch of policemen and paramedics trying to strap you to a bed for what you thought was no reason,’ Crichton said.

It is understood members of his family flew to France to support him.
He would go on to receive treatment and support from those around him before making an inspirational recovery, going on to enjoy one of the best seasons of his career, while putting himself back in the frame for a Kangaroos recall – having not donned the green and gold jersey since the Rugby World Cup in 2022.
He had taken to social media at the start of 2024 to speak out on how the year had been a ‘testing’ 12 months before going on to admit that the following year was going to be a good one.
‘Bit late but 2023 tested me, went through it all,’ Crichton wrote on social media.
‘Lucky to have the friends and family that I do to pick me up when I needed it.
‘Thank you to anyone who showed me love or had my back, whether I know you or not I appreciate it.
‘Ready to make 2024 great.’
And following his excellent form in 2024, amassing a whopping 795 tackles and placing second-best in the NRL for offloads, the 29-year-old was picked to feature in Mal Meninga’s squad for their recent Pacific Championships matches against Tonga and New Zealand.

And it appears this year is shaping up to be another epic year for the Roosters star having now tied the knot with his beau Esegbona at the Hunter Valley winery.
Located just two-and-a-half hours from Sydney, the Krinklewood estate is one of New South Wales’ most beautiful biodynamic and organic vineyards, that stretches across 150 acres of land.
It is situated right next to the Brokenback Mountain Range and offers some outstanding views of some of Australia’s most beautiful countryside.
The Roosters, meanwhile, have a bye this week before they return to action against league leaders, the Bulldogs at the Accor Stadium on Friday, May 16.
