Hulk Hogan left behind fewer than $5 million in assets, none of which will go to his estranged daughter Brooke, according to new bombshell reporting in the wake of the wrestling legend’s death in July.
As attorneys for the late WWE star’s son Nick explained in court files obtained by Us Weekly, Hulk did not list Brooke as a beneficiary to his estate in his will – a document that was amended four times, most recently in 2023. Instead, Nick is the sole beneficiary of his father’s estate while Hulk’s widow and third wife, Melanie Sky Daily, is listed as his surviving spouse.
Nick didn’t include Hulk’s real estate property in the court filing. Us Weekly speculates the real estate, estimated to be worth $11 million, could be controlled by a trust or LLC.
Hulk’s will does include $799,000 in personal and intellectual property, $200,000 in cryptocurrency, as well as his right to publicity, estimated to be worth $4 million, according to Us Weekly.
There is also a reported unknown value for a potential medical malpractice lawsuit, which Daily is considering following a neck surgery she believes contributed to Hulk’s death.
The 35-year-old’s filings are part of his ongoing lawsuit to stop radio personality and Hulk’s long-time friend Bubba The Love Sponge (real name: Todd Clem) from releasing a documentary about the late wrestler’s 2012 sex-tape scandal.

At the time, Gawker Media had published a sex tape of Hulk with Clem’s then-wife, leading to a lawsuit from Hulk.
He was initially awarded a $140 million payout after winning the lawsuit against Gawker Media, but that figure was later reduced to a $31 million cash settlement in November of 2016 as the website filed for bankruptcy protection.
Also, on Tuesday, Nick filed for himself and a man named Terry McCoy to be named co-personal representatives for his the wrestler’s estate.
The WWE legend died at 71 in July after suffering fatal cardiac arrest.
Brooke revealed shortly after that she ‘had to step away to protect my heart’ in the final two years of his life.
And not only did she remove herself from his everyday life, she also removed herself from his will.
The 37-year-old, who is married to former NHL player Steven Oleksy, feared being caught up in a bitter financial battle in the wake of her father’s death, according to TMZ.
Brooke reportedly didn’t trust anyone in Hogan’s inner circle and asked to be removed as a beneficiary of his estate in 2023 – the same year as her final conversation with the wrestling icon.
Daily Mail has reached out to Nick’s attorneys for more information.
Sky Daily, Hulk Hogan’s widow, is considering a medical malpractice lawsuit after his death
The wrestling icon’s phrenic nerve was ‘compromised’ during neck surgery in May, leaving him short of breath in the months before his heart stopped at his Clearwater Beach home
Hulk’s widow disclosed in an exclusive interview last month that her main focus is the neck surgery he underwent months before his death.
Daily said Hogan’s phrenic nerve was ‘compromised’ during the operation in May, leaving him short of breath in the months up to his heart stopping at his $8million waterfront home in Clearwater Beach, Florida.
The nerve controls the ability to breathe, and Sky, 46, told Daily Mail: ‘We are investigating for possible malpractice. If you have shortness of breath for a long time, that makes you very sick.
‘It’s not something that’s an alarming (sudden) cause of death. It’s something that wears on you, makes you weak.’
Asked if that could have contributed to his July 24 death, she replied: ‘Definitely.’

As for the lawsuit, Clem was still allowed to do a screening of the documentary, ‘Video Killed The Radio Star,’ in the Tampa area with Brooke on hand.
Nick sued Clem over the documentary, saying it would violate a settlement agreement between Hulk Hogan and Bubba from 2012, following the release of a sex tape involving the wrestler and the radio host’s then-wife.
Ultimately a judged allowed Clem to publish the documentary provided he remove specific images from the sex tape for the time being.
Clem has maintained that he did not leak the sex tape, but it was instead stolen by a former producer of his.
And as Brooke said after Hogan’s death, as quoted by TampaBay.com, Hogan didn’t blame Clem for the leak.
“My dad told me all the way back in 2012 that he knew it wasn’t Bubba who leaked the tape,” she said. “I remember asking him why they couldn’t be friends again after their settlement, but it was complicated. It makes me sad to think about it, but at least I can be here now.”
