Tom Brady has been pulling the strings to lure more ‘premium’ talent to Fox two years after starting his $375million deal with the network.
The legendary NFL quarterback put pen to paper on a staggering 10-year Fox contract back in 2022, before officially getting to work in the TV booth at the start of the 2024 season.
Though while his primary role is to commentate and analyze football games, Brady was also brought in to serve as an ‘Ambassador’ for the company as a whole.
And according to The Athletic, he has been living up to his ambassador duties behind the scenes by reaching out on Fox’s behalf to recruit new analysts.
‘He has been the ultimate team player across our entire company,’ Fox Sports president Brad Zager told the outlet. ‘It’s exactly what we signed up for.
‘He’s helped recruit talent. I think people look at Fox Sports now and, along with some of our other premium talent, they know we are a place that knows how to deal with premium talent, and we are building a great locker room.’

When contacting potential recruits, Brady has reportedly spoken glowingly about the way he has been treated by Fox so far.
As well as the seven-time Super Bowl winner, the network has a number of other star names on its books, including baseball icons Derek Jeter, David Ortiz and Alex Rodriguez.
Brady’s former New England Patriots teammate, Rob Gronkowski, also works on FOX NFL Sunday and FOX NFL Kickoff.
Fox has also unveiled a stellar lineup for this summer’s soccer World Cup, which includes all-time greats Thierry Henry, Clarence Seedorf and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
With the tournament around the corner, Brady is set to sit down with Ibrahimovic for a special conversation dubbed ‘Zlatan x Brady: GOATS on GREATNESS.’
The hour-plus conversation – which will be a loose, podcast-style setup – will be released digitally in clips over the next few days before the full video is posted on social and YouTube channels next Tuesday.
Ibrahimovic was one of the elite names Brady was able to lure to Fox, Zager explained after doubling down on his praise of the company’s ambassador.
‘I think it helps the way people look at us,’ he added about Brady’s image. ‘He has helped us reach out if we’ve asked him to reach out, and he and Zlatan had a relationship before this.’
