Was it another job by Chapeau-cean’s11? Or was it Bonnet and Clyde?

There was high-altitude crime cap-er at the swanky St. Regis in Aspen, Page Six is told, when a thief pulled off a smash-and-grab raid of pricey, limited-edition Nick Fouquet toppers — each ringing in at around $2,000.

A crook smashed a display window at the St. Regis in Aspen and stole two pricey hats.

In a brazen raid they’re already calling the “Milliner-dollar Heist,” a master brim-inal smashed the window of a display right outside of the hotel’s hotspot, Snow Lodge.

Security photos show an attractive man in his late twenties dressed in jeans and a puffy vest reaching into the display and grabbing a hat all while talking on the phone during the fedora fiasco.

A man in a trench coat can also be seen, with a source telling us that he was allegedly working as a look-out, according to security footage.

Two hats went missing from the display, which is located near the hotel’s restaurant and club, Snow Lodge.

A source tells us two pricey lids were taken.

Hat King Fouquet, whose work bears a signature matchstick in the brim, tells us the scenario “feels very ‘Thomas Crown Affair.’”

“Minus the chic choreography,” he said referring to the sexy dance between Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo in the 1999 movie about a billionaire art thief.

A police report has been filed, we are told.

St. Regis owner Stephane De Baets gave a stern warning to the culprits: “This is Aspen and crime of this nature never goes unresolved for more than a couple days.”

The display was created by artists Benjamin Voutour and Hunter Mcaan and features a mountain scene with a moving gondola lifting caviar tins.

The stolen styles were part of a limited-edition collaboration between Fouquet and Snow Lodge’s pop-up with Caviar Kaspia.

Snow Lodge owner Jayma Cardoso, who also owns Montauk’s Surf Lodge, tells us “It’s surprising and disappointing that someone would break a window, damage an art installation, and walk out with two hats like it was nothing. That’s not who we are as a community.”

This isn’t the first time the Snow Lodge has been a victim of theft.

In 2023, one of the buzzy spot’s signature Scandinavian sheep sculptures — which cost four figures — was nabbed by an overzealous partier who somehow walked off with the four legged, life-sized work and toted it all around town.

The perpetrator was caught when it was discovered he’d dropped the sheep at a local FedEx in an attempt to ship it back to his hometown.

Aspen police were not able to comment on the current situation since it is still an open investigation.
